PRP Facial
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is derived from blood and can help rejuvenate and repair skin and other tissue when injected. The concentrated blood product is made from blood taken from the patient and filtered through a centrifuge. The result is a highly concentrated serum of platelets and growth factors that can be injected into the desired area, including the facial skin.

PRP facials, also known as vampire facials, use the PRP created from the patient’s blood to stimulate healing of the skin. This serum can trigger collagen production and work to restore more youthful skin. The serum is applied or injected into the skin to introduce the platelets and growth factors into the skin.
The best way to introduce PRP deep into the skin is through microneedling. The tiny needles can create channels into the epidermis and dermis to deliver the PRP into the tissue. Microneedling also stimulates collagen – the two elements combined together can help improve the volume, firmness and tone of the skin.
The results of a PRP facial appear over the weeks following the treatment. A series of PRP facials spaced a few weeks apart can have tremendous results over a few months. There is little to no downtime needed after each facial – if microneedling is used, it may leave the skin slightly red for a day or more.
